Location: Hitachi Capital Consumer Finance
Business unit: Group

I joined Hitachi Capital UK in 2011 as a Learning and Development Partner following a career break to raise my family.

From the initial impression I got at the interview stage I felt that I was joining a quality organisation that had a strong focus on developing its employees. It was important to me that I was joining a company where I would have the opportunity to work with great people on exciting projects.

Since joining the team I have been promoted to a Senior Learning and Development Partner and have been given the opportunity to learn new skills outside of my existing competency base.

I feel ‘looked after’ at Hitachi – this is demonstrated not only in the range of benefits available to me and my family but in the investment made in me to develop my skills.

“I feel ‘looked after’ at Hitachi – this is demonstrated in the range of benefits available to me and my family and in the investment made to develop my skills.”

I’ve seen lots of changes since I joined back in 2011, changes that are always focussed on improving the customer experience and employee journey.

I enjoy working at Hitachi Capital – it’s an innovative organisation that strives to be the market leader and I’m very proud to be part of it.
