“There is an ever growing focus on keeping people happy at work, which can be seen through committees and reward schemes which I think will be paramount as we continue to grow the business.”
I've worked at Hitachi Capital for 11 years and have recently started a new role. It is great to be a ‘new person’ again, challenging myself to learn new products, systems and ways of working. I have always said, you get what you put in at Hitachi. If you are prepared to invest in your own development, you will be rewarded with opportunities.
What excites me about working for Hitachi Capital is the strong growth targets and expansion outside of the UK. It is exciting to think about what opportunities that might present, both for our customers and for us as employees.
Expectations are high and we work hard. We don’t always get things right first time, but we strive to learn from our mistakes in order to make things better for our customers and employees. There is an ever growing focus on keeping people happy at work, which can be seen through committees and reward schemes which I think will be paramount as we continue to grow the business. Ultimately, I wouldn’t have stayed with the business for 11 years had I not had the opportunity to develop my career, and most importantly have fun whilst doing it.
