SR2 - Socially Responsible Recruitment is a start-up IT recruitment company which opened its doors on the 23rd October 2017. Starting from scratch just over a year ago with no database, no name and little presence in the marketplace; just a lot of experience and desire to be a success.
At Hitachi Capital we currently control all of SR2’s contractor’s via invoice finance including back-office support, invoicing and timesheet support system through evertime. SR2 have worked with Hitachi since the business started, meaning we’ve been a part of their journey from day one.
Chris stated the main appeal as a start-up business was the hassle-free nature of it all. As a new business owner, he needed something that would take care of everything so his efforts could focus on other things to get the business off the ground.
Chris met with four or five different contract finance companies that he’d come across, all of which were effectively competitors and most of them knew each other personally or professionally. He then met Simon Jay, one of Hitachi Capital Invoice Finance’s Business Development Manager’s on a couple of occasions and had good exchanges. He found Simon to be professional, friendly and offered good sound advice. This made Chris comfortable that we could offer everything he was looking for.
Using an online system, we helped Chris pay his contractors swiftly. Once the system had been set-up it was relatively hassle-free allowing Chris to focus on other things to help build his business and focus on sales.
Having activated the account in March, over the last eight months SR2 have generated over £880k in contract turnover via Hitachi Capital Invoice Finance which has been growing steadily and continues to do so.
By offering our support we’ve allowed SR2 the opportunity to offer their clients both contract and permanent support, something Chris didn’t think would be possible so soon.
