Rox and Lewis Grant is proud of its reputation as leading diamond specialists. The company has five stores, four of which are based within Glasgow’s renowned jewellery quarter, the Argyll Arcade, a restored Victorian covered retail complex, billed as Europe’s oldest covered shopping arcade and home to 30 jewellery stores. The fifth store is just outside the city centre at Braehead.

Established 12 years ago from one small store, the company has grown rapidly and now trades under two distinct brand names. The Rox stores, aimed at the discerning contemporary market, offer an interesting contrast to the more traditional upmarket Lewis Grant stores where diamond purchases account for 80% of sales and customers travel from great distances in appreciation of the proprietor’s efforts to hand-pick every diamond collection from the world’s finest cutting centres.

Known to hold the largest market share in diamonds in the Arcade, Rox and Lewis has 45 employees, a current turnover of £4million, and plans to expand into Edinburgh and beyond.
