Hitachi Capital Consumer Finance Appoints Head Of Sales

The UK’s leading provider of in-store and web-based point of sale finance solutions, Hitachi Capital Consumer Finance, has appointed Lisa Harrison as head of sales to bolster its growing business.

With over 28 years of experience in point of sale finance, Hitachi Capital Consumer Finance has links with over 1,200 retailers across the UK. The company has recently launched a £1billion fund, which aims to facilitate consumer retail spending in 2010/11.
Ms Harrison was promoted to the role from her previous position as head of business development, bringing with her 17 years experience in the industry.

Since joining Hitachi Capital Consumer Finance in 2007, Ms Harrison has significantly contributed to the company’s success by expanding the team and developing relationships with a range of large clients, including Furniture Village, HomeForm, Selfridges and ScS.

Commenting on the appointment, Gerald Grimes, Hitachi Capital Consumer Finance managing director, said: “This is a natural development for Lisa and testament to her success since joining Hitachi Capital. She now takes responsibility for the whole sales team and the delivery of volume and profit targets.

Prior to joining Hitachi Capital Consumer Finance, Ms Harrison held roles with HFC Plc.
