Hitachi Capital Consumer Finance launches online marketing systemTuesday, 17 February 2009Leading consumer finance provider, Hitachi Capital Consumer Finance, has today launched an online marketing system to assist its retail customers target consumers with greater efficiency. The new ‘SalesGenerator’ online portal will provide individual outlets with a set of unique marketing tools to help drive their business and boost sales. With the UK’s retail trade currently facing some of the toughest trading conditions in the last 100 years, the bespoke web-based system will support Hitachi Capital’s customers by enabling direct online access to marketing collateral, point of sale (POS) material and other essential business related materials. To ensure each retailer utilises the system at a local level they will each have a marketing budget which they can control and top up as they choose, all with the aim to improve retail sales. The ‘SalesGenerator’ portal will host a selection of POS material, including posters, table talkers and wobblers, which will be available to order as a pack or as individual items, dependent on the retailer’s requirements. The new website will also give retailers the ability to initiate direct mail campaigns using a simple six step wizard process. The direct mail feature allows the retailer to target individuals within a certain location, drilled right down to postcode level. They can then choose to mail their existing or prospective customers using personalised template letters, whilst remaining compliant with the CCA. A new feature will allow the retailer to order demographic information about their customers, in order to help them plan future press and direct mail campaigns to improve sales rates. The site not only allows retailers to obtain printed materials at a much lower cost than would be possible if they were to source items themselves, but also ensures time saving and superior brand consistency as well as the ability to draw upon information on repeat and prospective customers to ensure accurate and relevant targeting.
