Hitachi Capital Consumer Finance credited for customer servicesTuesday, 24 November 2009Hitachi Capital Consumer Finance, one of the UK's leading finance providers of point of sale credit facilities, has been awarded the CCA Global Standard by the Customer Contact Association, the industry champion for all organisations working in the area of customer contact and service. First launched in 2001, the CCA Global Standard accreditation model was created to establish standards for customer service in partnership with some of the UK's largest contact centre operators, including BT, British Gas, RBS Group, BBC, Vodafone, Sky and Tesco. Being awarded the CCA Global Standard means that Hitachi Capital Consumer Finance has met the criteria for excellent standards of customer service, including awareness of customer satisfaction, contact centre performance and operational effectiveness. To gain the accreditation Hitachi Capital Consumer Finance also had to demonstrate a focus on employee development, legislation compliance plus data security and fraud prevention. Gerald Grimes, divisional managing director of Hitachi Capital Consumer Finance, said: “As a company we work with some of the UK’s leading retailers. Ensuring that their customers have only the very best customer service quality, is central to the service we offer to our clients. “We place a key focus on staff development and pride ourselves on customer delight, so we are delighted that our high standards and the hard work of our staff have been recognised in this way by the CCA Global Standard.” Having a unique insight into how big brands deliver customer service ensures that the CCA Global Standard can continually evolve to lead the development and delivery of the customer experience within customer contact centres. With over 27 years financing expertise to guide its customers every step of the way, Hitachi Capital Consumer Finance now has links with over 1,200 retailers across the UK and places great emphasis on proactive and profitable support to help retailers increase sales in these difficult times.
