Thompson joins Hitachi Capital Consumer FinanceTuesday, 16 June 2009Richard has over 15 years experience in retail and financial services, working for companies including Powerhouse Retail and HFC Bank where he was responsible for managing the Dixons Store Group (DSGi) which include brands such as Currys, PC World and Currys.digital. At Hitachi Capital he will be tasked with managing the relationships with the HomeForm Group, whose brands include Moben, Kitchens Direct, Dolphin and Sharps, as well as Ultralase. Commenting on the appointment, Gerald Grimes, Divisional Managing Director for Hitachi Capital Consumer Finance said: "Richard's extensive experience in both the retail and finance sectors, coupled with his proven success, is a perfect fit for our future growth plans as we continue to expand the business. "As a company we are in a very strong financial position with an experienced team already in place, however the addition of an experienced senior person such as Richard can only benefit the business."
